SPORTS PSYCHOLOGIST
He has worked with a sports psychologist to help him handle the pressure that comes with competing in speed skating. "I felt like a machine [after he started competing on the World Cup circuit]. It was all about the sport and the constant self-optimisation brought me a lot of pressure and a lot of thoughts. It's exhausting, but I'm living my dream." He enjoyed skating and played ice hockey. He then followed in his brother's footsteps and switched to speed skating. "My brother sparked my interest in the sport. Since my mother took him to training every day, I wanted to try it too."
